Many years ago I remember getting a call at work from someone who said 'this is xxx from Diss office' to which the tempting reply was 'Well I am xxxx from Dat office'

Reminds me of a great piece of graffiti I heard about! Someone had written Disarm today on a wall. Someone else came along later and added "Dat arm tomorrow".

My father in law's family came from Muff in Co Donegal.  Try putting just that into a search engine!  My daughter came in one night when we had and said she couldn't believe her parents were looking at porn on the internet. (We didn't open any of them as it was obvious what was there!)

We now always put the "Co Donegal" in too !
