Flesh Hovel Lane in Quorn Leics.

Apparently it is where the old knackers yard was for the unfortunate horses that went on to feed the Quorn Hunt hounds!

Still, look on the bright side, I'm all for recycling!!

Possibly the shortest name, "I", pronounced ee, Iona in Gaelic.

I found an ancestor at Scutch Buttocks (near Newton Heath in Manchester).

They were scraping the bottom of the barrel to come up with that street name...  ;D

Digressing ever so slightly (sorry!) - there’s a small market town - Loddon - in Norfolk.

Years ago there was a shop by the (family) name of Bugg.  It is alleged that one day the shop’s phone rang - a young assistant answered it and said:  “Bugg o’ Loddon” - and the caller replied “And ****** you too,” and slammed the phone down.

....and "Buglawton" is just to the east of Congleton, Cheshire.

"Luddenden Foot" is in the Calder valley between Hebden Bridge and Halifax. Branwell Bronte worked at the railway station there. The side valley is "LUDDENDEN DEAN". Try saying that after a pint or two!
Looking at ALSTON in south Ribble area, ALSTEAD and DONBAVAND/DUNBABIN etc. everywhere, HOWCROFT and MARSH in Bolton and Westhoughton, PICKERING in the Whitehaven area.
