william robets i know he died in Narbeth in September 1871 and his wife Mary Roberts in December 1888

The death of William Roberts aged 73 was registered in the 3rd Qtr of 1871 in the Narberth Registration District, therefore it is lightly he was buried in one of the many parishes or chapels covered by that Registration District. Where was William living in the 1871 census as that would be the parish to search 1st. Given that William died in the town of Narberth and not just the Registration District, his headstone if it survives will be in either Narberth Churchyard or perhaps across the road in the new cemetery. The majority of Narberth Churchyard is maintained by the Cty Council, the church only retain a very small area around the church.
The only apparent Mary Roberts that could fit would be the death that was registered in the 4th Qtr of 1888 aged 74 in the Pembroke Registration District. Currently the only one that appears to fit is the mother of Lot Roberts living in the village of Marros Carmarthenshire.
The problem here is that Marros is in the Narberth Registration District and not Pembroke, therefore her final resting place would be somewhere west of Tenby.
The above pre supposes 2 things ;
a.   both where established church and not non-conformist, in which case your search becomes even more difficult.
b.   The Registration District shown is the Register Office where the death was registered, not necessarily the area where the death/burial occurred. In the 1890’s our own ancestor baptised established church, converted to chapel, lived in Saundersfoot, died in Aberbeeg Glam and was buried at Tenby. His death was registered in Glamorgan.
I regularly visit a farm close to Marros Church, if this is confirmed as the location of her burial it is no trouble to see if her headstone survives.

Damian

William Roberts of Loveston Lane was buried at Molleston Baptist Church in August 1871. His stone survives.

I have assumed that his wife, Mary, was buried at Begelly church 6/7/1898, her residence shown as Lan, Kiffig in the burial register.
