William Patton, Garvagh
« on: Friday 04 February 11 21:35 GMT (UK) »
In his will of 1837 William Patton of Culmore, Kenaght 'devised and bequeathed his landed property in Garvagh' to his son. I am trying to find where this land was. Would anyone have access to the tithe applotment records for Garvagh?

Neither the Tithe Applotment or 1831 Census details posted show a Patton from Garvagh area.

I have this information already but thanks anyway flicka.

I wonder aghadowey if you would have a precise date for the Griffith's valuation for Errigal Parish. I see there were Pattons in the townlands of Garvagh and Farrantemple.

The date for Griffiths is on this site- click on 'details' when you find the person you are looking for. It's 1859 for Garvagh area.
