Hi Mary

I looked at your website but failed to find anything relating to William Robert LOGIE / Barbara HARKNESS ?
The only LOGIE I found was "John LOGIE - b. 1892 - Muirkirk" but in clicking onto that link, all it produced was "page not found" ??    (Also tried the link to Margaret L. G. Marshall Logie - again same problem with "page not found". )  ???

William Robert Logie born 27 Dec 1836 Muirkirk, Ayrshire. died 05 Jan 1885 Glasgow Road, Muirkirk, Ayrshire.
married 13 Feb 1857 Muirkirk, Ayrshire
Spouse Barbara Harkness born 16 Feb 1834 Pathhead, New Cumnock, Ayrshire Died 1913 place unknown.
Children All born in Muirkirk, Ayrshire.
John Logie born 24 Apr 1860
Agnes Logie born 03 Apr 1862
Hannah Logie born 05 Jan 1865
James Logie born 07 Apr 1866
George Logie born 18 May 1868
Robert Logie born 23 Aug 1870
Mary Jane Logie born 23 Jul 1873
William Robert Logie parents John Logie & Elizabeth Allison Blyth
Barbara Harkness parents
John Dempster Blyth & Hannah Dickson

All infromation was passed to me from my cousin.
{FIFE - Ritchie, Gold, Brough, Blake, Butters/case, Ednie, Marshall, Rodger, Scott.}
{Ayrshire - Logie, Muir.}
{Dumfries & Galloway - Blyth.}

Yes, these children's names (and corresponding dates of births) you have been given, are shown on the IGI (extracted records) as being the children of William (Note: no second christian name) LOGGIE [sic] and Barbara HARKNESS.   

*   Can you tell me please, how they connect to the following LOGIE which you have in your tree ?

John LOGIE - born 18 April 1892, Muirkirk, Ayrshire

Hi
I am a descendant of the Muirkirk Logies and have got a reasonable amount of information on them including immigration to Nz and some BDM Certs. Barbara Harkness Logie came to Nz with Mary Jane and Robert in 1891, George went in 1888 and Elizabeth (born 1858) and John arrived in 1879. Agnes and John Maxwell were the last to arrive. Hannah died 1865 aged 1 month and William (son) died in 1889. James was the only one to stay in Scotland where he married Mary Whitefield McInally - their son Frank (my GGrandfather) immigrated to Nz in 1926.
I only have one sticking piece and that is further back with GGGGGgrandmother Jean/Jane Goldies death!.

my great grandparents were also William Ritchie and Jane Brough. My grandmother was Mary Jane Ritchie (Wilde)
