Sarah and John Mc Goldrick nee Madden daughter of Edward and Catherine Madden Sarah Died 23rd Aug 1908 Richmond Vic 40years in Australia 9 Children, John died 10th July 1915 51 years in Australia ? unable to find them coming in?? no marriage found,  first child John Edward McGoldrick died 27th July 1872 John stated Publican  child died at Limerick Arms Hotel Drummond St Carlton Child 9 months old cannot find Birth cert ? child Patrick born 17 March 1872 in Melbourne. John states 36 years old  born Sligo. Sarah 30 years old born Farmanagh, child Patrick dies 14th October 1873 address then Gibbs Street Collingwood.   Trying to find Sarah Madden Coming into Aus,  John Mc Goldrick coming into Aus.  Edward Madden  and Catherine  did they come in to Aus.?  in the 1860 an Edward Madden ran a hotel the Freemasions Hotel in Emerald Hill (South Melbourne) could this be them??  I was told as a small child that Sarah and John ran away together  by my grandmother their daughter in law.  John work for first the Hobson Bay Railways and Victorian Railways he ended up as the Station Master of Picnic Station in Burnley   I would love any help in this matter      kind regards teresa1

I can't see a marriage here are the children listed to John MCGOLDRICK and Sarah Ann MADDEN on the Index:

3. Catherine b 1876 Richmond # 25317
4. James b 1878 Richmond # 4654
5. Edward b 1879 Richmond # 18800
6. Michael John b 1881 Richmond # 11691 d 1883 aged 2 Melbourne S # 5838
7. Margaret b 1882 Melbourne # 25185
8. Robert d 1885 Richmond { no age given} # 20929

I also cannot find them coming in to Victoria 
There is this might be John can't be sure:

It should have the date and place of John & Sarah McGoldrick's - marriage.

There is a digitised will for

John MCGOLDRICK
Died 10 Jul 1915
Probate Grant Date    15 Oct 1915
Occupation    Laborer
Residence    Burnley

He leaves all to Margaret Josephine Mary BROOKS of Swan St, Burnley.  There is no mention of how/if she is related to him.  Executor is Alfred WINTER.  The will is dated only 5 days before he died.
