Martha A Dickens birth Islington
« on: Monday 31 January 11 00:10 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

I am looking for more detail on the Death of Martha A Dickens, she was born in the September quarter 1928, reference 1b page 419.

I believe she could be my mother in-laws sister who died at birth.  If she is her parents were Albert Leonard Dickens and Florence Annie Nugent.

Anymore information on this girl would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Cheryl

Hi Cherylj,

As mother's maiden names were listed after September quarter of 1911, They shows that there were two births for surname Dickens and mother's maiden name of Nugent. These are Martha A as you have already found on September quarter of 1928 in Islington and the other being a Gloria D A Dickens on the December quarter of 1938 in Hackney. This i'd presume is your mother in law?

Like Nanny Jan mentioned the death cert would tell you the information you are looking for.

Hi Craig and Nanny Jan,

Yes you are both correct, I do need to get the death certificate.  I confirmed last night that Martha is Gloria's sister that died one day after birth.

Thank you both
