looking for Info on Fisher's

Hi everyone

Im looking for information on Edward Fisher's (b1809 in Surrey) parents. Edward married francis rolls in 1830 in Surrey and had several children including Edward James Fisher who is a direct decendant of my line. I have some information that show Edward's parents as John (b1775) and Mary but i can't seem to find anything to verify this. I found the marriage certificate for Edward and Francis and it was signed by a Henry Fisher. This could have been his brother or quite possibly his father. Can someone, anyone, help me verify Edward's parents as I have been stuck at this brickwall for over 6 months and have been given a mountain of severally wrong information

if you go into familysearch and put in the data you have for your edward you will find both his birth and his christening data the latter is in there igi list so it has been verified as correct , with john as father and mary as mum if you want confirmation look along the header on the search page  look for research helps on the drop down list click on ask a question it will take you to there own forum page you,l get all the answers you need from there .

Thanks for all of that. The problem is that my line seems to stop with John Fisher, father of Edward Fisher. I know that John and Mary had 5 kids but i have no idea where to find information on John. All i know of him is that he was born about 1775, place unknown, and died in Egham, SUrrey in 1883.d any suggestions on where to look because i have used Ancestry, family search, and anything else that everyone has sggested. The only possible like i had was that he was born in the USA, but when i traced the line back things didn't add up

I was having a look for Edward Fisher's baptism but then read your last post which seems to say that you are looking for info on a John Fisher born in 1775 and who died in Egham in 1883 potentially making him well over a 100.  Which Fisher are you looking for as Trevor has said the info on Edward is in the IGI on Family Search.
Sorry if i am confused.
