 looks like its not going to be easy to find the Henry connections. i have just been thinking that as he is always recorded in the censuses as coming from Framingham or Suffolk, it may be a misspelling of Framlingham or possible that he came from Norfolk, possibly Framingham Earl ?

I think it would be well worth while to follow up the non-conformist route.  Framlingham had several non conformist chapels and a large part of the cemetery is for burials of non conformists.  The period you are looking at is a time of great changes in Fram and a trend to leave the established church for something new.

A Henry Kersey (1754-1814) a farmer was renting land in Framsden from the Dysart family.

Wife was Elizabeth Kersey (1767-1837) (nee Barker?) Married 1795

Their grandson Henry Kersey (1834-1897) emigrated to Nevada, Story Co, Iowa, USA

There were other Kersey familys farming in Debenham, Framlingham, Wetheringsett & Wickham Skeith in the late 18th century.

For any missing family names living in the area I suggest that you look in the 1832 Poll Book under the "Framlingham" heading

Henry did in fact marry a Elizabeth from Baumaris in wales.

The connection with Henry Pells kersey of Framsden turned out incorrect as his son Henry emigrated to America, married a Ann Kinney and died 1890 in Nevada,

The Henry i am looking for moved to London and died in 1904 Bexley kent

There were members of the Kersey family living in the Framlingham & Saxtead area during the 18th century. A John & Mary Kersey (nee Bennett), had 5 children, 3 of whom were born in Framlingham. A son Thomas, who married Mary Gissing, was born in Cotton, Suffolk. It appears that after leaving Framlingham some of the family moved back to the Cotton, & Wickham Skeith area of Suffolk.

Thomas & Mary, had seven children, 2 born Wickham Skeith, 3 born in Framlingham and 2 girls born in nearby Great Glemham in 1802 & 1803. Their daughter Mary (born 1797) married Charles Edwards at Great Glemham in 1817.
Frances Kersey of Debenham, wife of John Edwards were the great-grandparents of Charles Edwards!!!!!!!

One of my ancestors was Lydia Kersey (of Fakenham) who married William Able at Bromswell (near Ipswich) 13 Oct 1777. The family were generally non-conformist.

I wonder if there is any link?
