Request help to find any information Re John NORTON

Looking for any information regarding John NORTON. We have little or no information since he left home in 1955. I would presume he is now deceased.

JOHN NORTON, was born on 16 October 1902, in Glenmaggie, Victoria, to James Joseph Norton and
Charlotte Louisa Norton [Reford].
Note: He worked on the family dairy farm that was situated in the Hazelwood area. Jack left the family home in about 1955.
He was sighted in Western Australia in 1962. He had married a widow named Olive, and they had a son they named
Peter John Norton.
OLIVE NORTON , John Norton  married Olive Norton in Western Australia. They had one son:

JAMES JOSEPH NORTON  was born on 3 July 1869, in Dargo Flat,
Gippsland, Victoria, to Peter Norton and Ellen Norton [Carey]. James died on 24
September 1951, aged 82, in Moonee Ponds, Victoria. He was buried on 26 September 1951 in Fawkner Cemetery, Victoria.  • Roman Catholic Compartment R Grave 4271 (Burial).

Notes:
• James Norton was known as "Dargo Jim".
• When James Norton passed away his usual address was, 40 Ardmillan Road, Moonee Ponds. This was the home of Jim & Sadie Humphrey.

CHARLOTTE LOUISA NORTON [REFORD] was born in 1869, in Talbotville, Gippsland, Victoria, to Alfred Reford and Sarah Griffiths,  Charlotte died on 27 July 1940, aged about 71, in West Brunswick, Victoria. She was buried in Fawkner Memorial Park.

• Charlotte Louisa died at, "Wahrooga" 209 Melville Road, West Brunswick. The home of Jim & Sadie Humphrey (Death).

James Joseph Norton, aged 32, married Charlotte Louisa Norton [Reford], aged about 32, on 11 January 1902 in Warragul, Victoria. They had four children:
John Norton in 1902
Sarah Louisa Humphrey [Norton] in 1905
Michael Norton in 1906
Ellen Esther Reid [Norton] in 1912
Note:
The Wedding ceremony was conducted by Father Maurice Hogue, according to the rites of the Roman Catholic Church.
The witnesses were James Norton, possibly James's cousin, son of his Uncle Thomas, and Esther Norton, possibly sister of the groom

Perhaps the electoral roll information is not your John as you state he left home in 1955.  Bit slow today...must be the over 40° temp.

I thought the 1954 info may be questionable but the match of Michael 7 Olive is interesting.

Electoral roll listing may be simply a coincidence.  Of course they may have married in another state but unfortunately Victoria's marriage index only extends to 1942 and SA to 1937.   The wonderful resource for marriages to 1965 in WA does not show their marriage.

No burial record in Perth for either John or Olive.

No I don't personally know Peter John Norton. As you can see in the info John & Olive did have a son Peter John.

My mother Ellen Esther REID (NORTON) was John Norton's sister. I have recently commenced some family research and we have always wondered what had happened to John.

I would appreciate any help if there is a connection here.
