Complete - Saint Dunstan, Stepney look up please
« on: Saturday 29 January 11 19:50 GMT (UK) »
Is it please possible for somebody to look up a marriage between Sarah France Wise and William Allen on 13th September 1840 at Saint Dunstan, Stepney, London.  I am hoping there may be little more information given which will help my research.

Many thanks

Further to the previous reply I think the profession of the groom's father William Allen was brass founder.  Also the witnesses were Wm. (William) White and Ithiel Price (he seems to have regularly witnessed weddings, possibly he was a churchwarden).
Regards Caroline.

Thank you for that Caroline.  I was hoping that Sarah Wise was a widow but there is always the chance I still have the right person but she didn't marry the father of her children.  All adds to the fun of the search!
