I too am related to the Hyland family located in and around Clonmel (Ardfinnan and maybe even those by Knocknaboha/Knockskaugh) and would like to learn more about the family that stayed behind. My grandmother is Catherine Hyland, born 17 Feb 1877 as Catherine Heelan(d) at Newtownadam, Cahir parish, born to James Hyland and Johanna Cotter. My grandfather is John F Barrett, born to Michael Barrett and Ellen Scully, in Knocknaboha.
