Found Charles Henry - born 1890 but shown at BDM as Emery !!
Father Charles Thomas, mother Mary.

Charles Henry Emeny was born 25/12/1889 so was probably registered in 1890.  His father was Charles Thomas born Patea 17/11/1868 married to Mary Heffernan b 3/4/1869 at Invercargill.  Other children were Kathleen Mabel 1/2/1893,  Irene Mary 10/6/1898, Alexandra Ophir May 9/6/1901 and Robert Harold 27/7/1904.  Hope this is of  use to you.

Checking on the three daughters kindly supplied by Kina, reveals they never married, all died in Wellington, and  lived to a ripe old age

Kathleen Mabel d 1978 age 85
Alexandra Ophir May  d 1992 age 91
Irene Mary    d 2007 age 108

How unusual is that

When I googled and found that link
there was also some for TV3 news, they had done an item on her house

Lucky you John.   

You could also ask TV3 if you could have a copy of the news item.   I did years ago, explained why I wanted it, of course there was a fee, but I didn't mind as it was the only live image I had of my father.
