Yes, I am directly related to the Turp family in Pentlow.  My GGGG Grandmother Mary Turp is my earliest relative that I have found so far.  She had her son, John Turp baptised at St George's Church on 10/01/1773 - but with no record of a father!  My family lived in the area until my Grandfather moved away in 1902.

Mary Turp was also one of my ancestors and as I read it her name originally was Mary Turpentine daughter of Isaac and Sarah Turpentine thee birth date matches 30th January 1740 I am now trying to investigate Isaac and Sarah - wish me luck
