Stabbing Death - Cairns C1933/35 : COMPLETED

I'm seeking any info regarding death of Michael Paulos SERGIS a Greek or Greek Cypriot national who came to Australia C1920. He was sponsored by one Ilias CHRISTOU who may or may not have been a relative (Source NAA). SERGIS was issued with Alien Regn Cert No 62 at Vestey's in Darwin (Source NAA) and married in Cairns in 1930,but the registration records his name as Michael PAULOS.
He was reputably murdered in Cairns during an attack/robbery at a Newsagents in 1934 or 1935.
I have searched using name combinations in Qld BDM,TroveNLA site (Newspaopers),Cairns Cemetery records all to no avail.

Hi there,

Michael may have been buried at Tully.  Jessie was living there in 1943 (electoral roll), and this post also might indicate that they were residing in Tully.

I had a look at our Tully Cemetery CDs at QFHS library today.  Couldn't pick up either Micahel or Jessie.
I looked for SERGIS and PAULOS and also by Michael and Jessie, latter with no names which could be remotely mistaken for these two surnames.
These CDs are only MIs and photos and headstones, so they may be buried there without headstones, of course.

Jessie was buried in Cairns as Jessie Arclisse HOWE after she remarried, but can't see any possibilities for Michael there.
