Thank you for your reply. I had managed to mix up my dates. I was actually looking for the mother of the Thomas born in 1779 but you kindly furnished me with this information. I don't suppose you have any imformation about Joan Shorland née Peddle? I feel bad about taking up so much of your time but thank you, nevertheless.

I am looking for a christening record and possible parents of Elizabeth Shorland born 1778 in Chard (or Yeovil) Somerset. I wondered if perhaps she is related to the Shorland family members mentioned in this message thread.

Elizabeth (aka Betty) married William Aplin on the 19th of May 1803, they had 12 children and she died on the 24th of June at age 81 in 1859 in Chard, Somerset.

If anyone has any possible parents or information about her please let me know. Thank-you.
