Henry Strover born 1675-8ish, Rochester

I don't know if anybody can help but I have been searching without success for the baptism of Henry Strover around 1675-8 in Rochester area.  His siblings were baptised in St. Nicholas, Rochester but he just doesn't appear.  Henry had an older brother by the same name 1668 who died (as well as several other brothers and sisters) and their parents were Thomas and Elizabeth.

If anybody could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.

St Nicholas Rochester parish records are on Cityark and I know from my research go back a fair way.
Illman-Sussex,Surrey and Kent. Marsh -Kent. Pack -Kent. Rolfe- Kent.  McClelland -Londonderry, Harris- Norfolk. Oakey, Okey- Ely Camb. Mott -Suffolk. Twin- Essex,Topley- Kent,Filmer- Kent,Harvey- Kent.Ward Kent.

Hi Jean.  I have searched Cityark.  I did wonder if locals on those days may have used another church in the area other than St. Nic.

Maybe! Have you found where Thomas and Elizabeth were married,they may have used the same church for his baptism.

I thought I had found their marriage in May 1666 at St Nicholas but now don't actually think it is them.  Will keep on searching!

I know the early records are not easy to read!Many still are in Latin!
My Topley family came from Rochester and have parish records at St Nicholas too.

Hi!

I'm really trying to find the parents of Thomas Strover (father of Henry) and wondered if you please have any info about who they might have been?

I'm also interested to know the date of death for Henry Strover who was born in 1668 as we didn't realise that he died and have him as marrying Jane Woodgate. I'd be really grateful for any info you might have about these early Strovers as well as any possible ancestry for Jane Woodgate.

Hi Lucy.  I probably have much the same information as you apart from having recorded that Henry died in 1670.  I have absolutely nothing on Henry's parents apart from their names (Thomas and Elizabeth) and am trying to piece together the family tree at the moment.
