Hiya Mandy
I can't find a better match than those twin boys but I can't say for sure they are yours.I've looked for St Johns on the internet and there is a St Johns Church Cudworth Index to the Monumental Inscriptions and it does list the surname Lee and gives 3 plot numbers N12, R31, S14.
The information on the net for St Johns is a bit misleading  because it says Sorry no contact email is available but underneath the address is a send an e-mail box so you could try it and see what happens or write and ask about who's buried in those plot numbers.
The address just incase you can't find it on the internet is
The Vicarage
St Johns Road
Cudworth
Barnsley
S72 8DD
Phone number 01226 710279

Between 1904-1910 there are over 100 Lee births in the Nottingham RD and about 65 in the Barnsley RD

With no baptisms - you are left with cross matching each of those births to a corresponding death between the birthyear and the 1911 census

Having found a death- you would then still have to purchase the birth cert to find if it was the right parents - could prove quite costly at £9.25 per cert

Hi there,

thank-you so much for your help with this. I had a look at the address you found for the twin boys and the road which was given as their address on the 1901 and they are very close.
Would it be possible for someone to check the electoral register for 10 Wilson Street, Barnsley?
The odd thing I discovered was that almost all their children were conceived April-ish time and born the following January time! Poor Maggie didn't seem to get a minute's peace and was only un-pregnant for a few months after giving birth before she was pregnant again!! The twins birth doesn't overlap any other pregnancy she had but it's very close!
I also checked the website with all the memorial inscriptions, no luck :(
So, does anybody have access to the electoral register for 1902, Wilson Street, Barnsley and would they be a treasure and have a look to see if a Mr Alfred Lee is there? :)
I'd be so grateful and this family has been really difficult to research!!
Many thanks
Mandy

Hiya Mandy
The Electoral Rolls are held at the main library in Barnsley you could always ring and ask if the staff could look for you
