Charles Kelly's Birth Record.

I would be grateful for any information on the Birth of Charles Kelly.

The only information that I have is that he married Sarah Anderson (Donegal) in 1875 in St. Columbs Long Tower Church in Derry City.  His Father's name was John.

Hoping that someone has some old Parish Records, as I contacted the Church and they had no record of Charlie's birth.

Bit of a needle in a haystack request. Any idea of Charles' birthdate? have you found him in any census records to confirm approx. birthdate and place of birth?

Many thanks for your reply.  I have a mixture of dates which are as follows:

On the headstone in City Cemetery it states that he died in 1928 age 63 which would make his birth date approx 1865/66.
in 1901 Census he is aged 45 which dates his birth year as 1856 approx.
in 1911 Census he is aged 60 which dates his birth year as 1851 approx.

This is my problem, I really don't have a definite year of birth for him?

Charles Kelly's place of birth is Derry City.

The good news is that he's buried in the City Cemetery which have fantastic records- should list his religion, name of mother and father as well as birthplace and age. Headstone could have been put up years later with an incorrect age.
