I am wondering if anyone can tell me if there is/was a PRIMROSE LANE (not sure it's lane...could be something else)
in SELLY OAK BIRMINGHAM??

Not to my knowledge,Edden...but there is a Primrose Lane in Hall Green,Birmingham.
Weaving...Rodborough,Stroud,Ruscombe.
 Browning...ditto.

There was a Primrose Hill in Selly Oak at the time of the 1911 census.
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

thanks....just looking on google earth...looks like it became part of hall green maybe? my dad's family lived there in the 1940's ....he always said it was Selly Oak.....

stoppard, cater, pinson, arthur, jinks, smith   Birmingham area

Selly Oak and Hall Green are not particularly close to each other, though.
