I can find Henry Nield b abt 1850 Ireland on the 1881 Census wrongly transcribed as Mild
      RG11 Piece 979  Folio 66 Page 15
Also on the 1901 Census again wrongly transcribed as Nelid
      RG13  Piece 3627 Piece 138  Page 12
Also on the 1911 Census
     RG 14 Piece 23289
Could a kind person with more experience than myself please try & find him on 1871 & 1891 Census

I see he is a corporal R Artillery on the  1881 census.  Might he be abroad with the Army?

1871 possibly Sandhurst Berkshire,Madras ,British subject,

was his father in the army to,

I had thought abt him being abroad, No his Father was not in the Army.I do not think the Neild Henry E is him the Henry I am looking for gives his age consistently as 1850 this Henry was born 1855.Thank you for trying.

Hi,

I can see from the 1881 census that there was a daughter Elizabeth J L Nield born Dover 1879. She married in 1900 in Bolton. Lancashire to William Morris.

Henry, wife Elizabeth and their children Elizabeth, Ambrose and Alice all appear to be missing in the 1891 census and unfortunately cannot see Henry or Elizabeth in 1871 either.
