Hi Brian sory nothing on James Rougvie,
there is only a small part of the old Methillmill cemetery left
and a large number of the stones are lying lace down
as a weaver he may not have had a stone, there is no record
of his wife Margaret in the pre 1855 death Cd by FFH.

I am looking for the graves of my husband's GGG Grandparents:

George Henderson born 1791 in Largo, Fife, Scotland
and his wife
Catherine Laurie Henderson born 1791 in Wemyss, Buckhaven, Scotland

According to the General Index of Deaths for Scotland, Catherine (sic) Henderson was found to have died on 20th March 1855 at Temple, parish of Largo. According to her death entry, she was then aged 64, the widow of George Henderson, and the daughter of William Laurie (sic) a weaver, and Catherine Neish. She had resided 8 years in the parish of Largo, and was born in Buckhaven, Parish of Weymyss. Her children are listed as follows:-

Catherine aged 41
Peter 39
William 37
George born July and died Oct 1830
Johan 32
Thomson born Aug 1, and died Oct. 1832
George Thomson 21
James 19

Catherine died on March 20 1855 and was buried in the Burial Ground of Wemyss. The information for her death entry was given to the registrar, by her son, John Henderson.

I would appreciate it so very much if you would look at your lists to see if you know which cemetery she might be buried in and if there is a stone.

Hi Mary  sorry nothing in my Index for George & Catherine
Catherine died on March 20 1855 and was buried in the Burial Ground of Wemyss.
she would most likely been buried at
St Mary's by the Sea Churchyard, Main Street, East Wemyss
there is no listing by Mitchells pre 1855 deaths nor FFH pre 1855 Death Cd
if you know who their children married I can check that.
