with reference to the death of Lazarus Jenkin, he was buried in Perranarworthal noted as living in Devoran in St Feock
http://www.cornwall-opc-database.org/moreinfo.php?ID=673204&dbtype=burials&formval=
The death was registered as Helston dec qtr 1862  so could have been in any of these parishes which the registration district covered
http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/genuki/reg/districts/helston.html
The death cert will tell you where it happened.

His marriage was registered in the Truro registration district, so in one of these parishes

my thoughts for today

They may have simply liked the name Lazarus not necessarily a connection with the other Lazarus

How do you know Nancys father if you do not have her christening? and her marriage was pre 1837 ?

Some of my Cornish relations moved to Wales to work in the mines there after a downturn in the mining industry in Cornwall .

this looks like it may be related. There's a marriage in St Keverne of William Jenkin & Mary Tripcony 17/7/1791 (1791 not 1792 as stated previously)
The following year a baptism to William & Mary Tripcony of a daughter called Nancy
do you mean she was bp. under Tripcony instead of Jenkin? I guess its how you read it but looks very likely to be your Nancy unless you can find any other records for a Nancy Tripcony

If you do not live in a place such as ST Keverne it is unlikely that you will make this place up as your place of birth
Nancys p.o.b maybe inconsistent but who filled in the form for the enumerator would they know where Nancy was born?

There is a Lazarus Tripcony in St Keverne who may be related and he's the only Lazarus in the parish at the time. – this is a good

Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven't been on today, I was too ill ! Feeling a bit brighter now !
Well I'm glad that Peter has joined in, as it was he who gave me the details some that i accidently deleted just before this scavenger hunt.
Thank you everyone for your hard work !
If anyone comes across Annie Bray (pob Illogan,Boscastle, Cornwall )dau. of John Bray + Ann/Nancy Martin 1821 I'd like to know if there was a spanish link.
My Mum always said she was Spanish I haven't found anything to confirm this.
Reading about the mariners + the Martins moving about a lot, made me want to ask!

Ladylil, have you ever asked for a lookup for these people on the Cornwall board? The moderator, Krisesjoint, has lots of parish records on fiche and may be able to help.

No I haven't ! Not sure if Peter has. I am just looking through the info that you've kindly put up today.

.
Nancy Martin (jnr) married John Bray and had several children
James named after john's father
Thomas Martin Bray named after Nancy's father
here you say you know Nancys father

but in all seriousnesss i think you have Nancys bp as Tripcony and Lazarus is her mothers brother
