Ladylils Scavenger Hunt....Everyone Welcome To Join In.
« on: Tuesday 11 January 11 09:12 GMT (UK) »

Welcome to this weeks Scavenger Hunt......... and it's complicated!!   Well, not complicated, just difficult to get your head around.

Good Luck and Good Hunting

Barbara

                                     ************************

Family of Nancy Jenkins is very difficult to find.

1851 census shows born St Keverne but there is no record of a Nancy Jenkins born St Keverne.

I have taken a guess as the most likely family is of a William Jenkins married Mary Tripcony in 1792 in St Keverne.

As to Lazarus Jenkins Bray there is a death in 1862 (47yo if I remember correctly) of Lazarus Jenkins, must be a family member.

As to Nancy Martin (Jenkins) in 1841 census 45yo, 1851 49yo, 1861 70yo, so it is a guess which one is close.

Thomas Marin creates similar problem and at this stage it is a guess. It appears that the Martins and the Jenkins moved around probably as a result of work, or lack of it.
