Am I right in thinking he was 6 when he came to Australia?

I have based this on his age at death and the fact he is said to have been a resident of Australia for 56 years.

He divorced Ella Dorris Bishop, claiming adultery with an unknown man.

Lillian Beatrice Phillips divorced Warren, claiming desertion. There are two divorces listed on State Records for Warren and Lillian. In 1917 and again in 1918.
