Hi pk20

Welcome to Rootschat  ;D

Are you volunteering information in order to to connect with fellow family?

Or are you searching for more information (perhaps on his background pre 1855?)

From your first message posted in May, in the thread "What Country is your research ?"

Re Andrew James Keltie
my info born 1833 died 1925 Launceston Tasmania Aust.
have more info on him if required.

and a reply from a fellow chatter:
It seems to be the same Andrew James Keltie as I have copy of Will and date of death 19th Aug 1925 in Launceston Tas.  He is my great-great grandfather.  Any information would be appreciated as I don't know where he was born - only that he married Sarah Jamieson.

If you let us know what you are hoping to find, perhaps we can help  ;D

Cheers

Hi, My great grand father was Andrew James Keltie. He married Sarah Jamieson. He was an engineer from Edinburgh and went to Luanceston in Tasmania to help build the Flour Mills. One of his sons was Hugh Edward Peter Keltie who was born in 1873? and who later moved to New Zealand and was a watchmaker. He was my grandfather. Andrew also had a daughter who married ???.Duncan in Tasmania.
