I have reinstated my Calderdale Companion website for a time to assess the interest and feedback which seemed to have declined when it was last available.

Any comments, suggestions and other feedback would be most welcome.

I wish I'd known it was here :-\ I went to find my Sutcliffes in Lumbutts in 2006 and this would have been so helpful, particulary the mills and churches.

Do you happen to know if there were any small mills in the lumbutts and Mount Pleasant (Todmorden) area? My Sutcliifes were engineers in a cotton mill but I can't find out which one
