Looking for any information on Warringtons in the above townland between 1800 and 1900

i know a Thomas Warrington from Annaduff, Monaghan married a Sarah Junkin Drumkeeran, Kesh 1839

they had two children Samual & Richard

Its looks like Thomas was widowed and married a Ann Downey 1858 and had the following children
Andrew
Elizebeth Susan
Robert
William John
Lucinda (Nee Scholes)
Anne Jane (Nee Dunlap)

anne died i believe in 1909

i lot of this is heresay from research so i maybe wrong about Thomas remarrying, i am thinking Sarah, Samuel & Richard may have died during the famine as there doesnt seem to be any records or trace of them after this time

any one help me out?

Welcome to Rootschat. You've mentioned lots of townlands in the title.

William John Warrington with family in 1911 census living in townland of Tamlaght. He's age 42 so born c1869.
www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Fermanagh/Castlecoole/Tamlaght/515497

Possibly his brother Robert?
www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Fermanagh/Carnmore/Mullanvaum/513515

There's a Lucinda Scholes with husband Alexander in 1901 census (think you meant Scholes was her married name not her maiden name).
www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Fermanagh/Tempo/Tempo/1353619

There's this Anne Warrington in 1901 census but she's single (and still alive in 1911 census) so not sure if 'your' Ann Warrington was still alive by 1901-

Could this be your Thomas? "Probate of the Will of Thomas Warrington late of Beagho County Fermanagh Farmer who died 4 April 1899 granted at Armagh to Thomas Warrington Farmer."
The Will was dates 8 Aug.1896 and mentions son Andrew, wife Anne, daughter Elizabeth Susan, son Robert, son William John with token payments to two other married daughters Lucinda Scholes and Anne Jane Dunlop probably to prevent them making a claim against the estate.

Andrew Warrington died 1923: "Warrington Andrew of Beagho county Fermanagh farmer died 9 October 1923 Administration (with Will) Londonderry 20 June to Margaret Warrington the widow. Effects £162 18s. 4d."

This William Warrington is quite likely related "The Will of William Warrington late of Mullanvaun County Fermanagh Farmer who died 22 January 1896 was proved at Armagh by William Haire of Carrickapollin in said County Farmer one of the Executors."

See www.proni.gov.uk to see Will Extracts and some of the actual wording of the Wills.

thanks for the quick responses

i have traced back my great great great grandfather Samuel Warrington born in Annaghyduff, Drum, Co.Monaghan 1813 who married Eleanor Johnston in 1841 and moved to Derrylahan, Newtowngore, Co.Leitrim sometime after the Griffiths Valuation and before 1877 when Samuel's sister Susan was buried in Newtowngore aged 27

i have been trying with no success to find out who Samuels father was, his only other link is a brother William who emigrated to Canada sometime in the 1840's

Thomas Warrington married Sarah Junkin 1839 and his address given as Annaduff, Monaghan, what i am trying to do is prove a link here, could he be a brother of Samuels? Thomas Warrington married a Ann Downey in 1858 and his status was widowed. so im guessing Sarah must of died, cant find a record for her or her two sons mentioned in the original post. but is this the same Thomas?. when Thomas Married Ann his father name was given as William, could this be my Samuel's (b1813) Father?

also a Thomas and Peter Warrington appeared in the Tithe Applotments for aghabog, monaghan in c1824 hence why i have a hunch about Thomas in Kesh

Hope you can understand this, where may i be able to order a original copy of Thomas & Sarah's marriage certificate?

Regards
Ray

Civil registration of Catholic marriages began in 1864 but non-Catholic marriages from 1845- there will be no civil marriage records before those dates and you'd need to check church records for pre-registration events.
