German marriage

I have a marriage from 1637 in Künzelsau, Germany and I am not sure whether it is the correct one.  I was looking for a marriage between a Heinrich Schmötzer/Schmizer and Elisabeth ? and could only find the attached entry.  I have included another photo which is the burial (?) for Herr. Schmötzer.    Even though the 'H's are different I still think his name is Heinrich over Fridrich.

Any opinions please would be gratefully received

Hi viking-man,

I can't take a strong position in making suggestions here, mostly
due to the brevity of the samples, and lack of familiarity with
German styles of writing.

However, on what we have, I can't see any argument against 'H' in the
first sample. With the second, the capital letter seems to me to
be an ordinary 'f' with heavy embellishment to make it a capital.
The centre of the word seems to take up more height than needed to
write 'inr', and looks rather like a 'd' where the large upright
loop has filled with ink.

In your position, I would do several things before making up my mind:

Wait for other, more experienced eyes at this board to offer a
more confident opinion.

Link this post to one of the German boards where there are likely
to be others with the relevant experience.

Review the entries surrounding the ones you have shown us vith a
view to identifying the same letters in other contexts.

Hi Im new to this   but I thought I would contact you   My great grandfather Richard George LETT was a pork butcher  and he knew the GLOCK family in Deptford London I think he was apprenticed to them ,  There is a rumour he was the natural son of a GLOCK and Emily Lett? If this is true it would mean my tested Y chromosomal dna inherited down the line from father to son would match that of any male Glock descended from the Niederstetten and Schwabisch Hall Glocks . Please have you taken the DNA test , mouth swab, with ancestry.com or genographic project or with Familytreedna.com etc or do you know of any male Glock who has or who might be thinking of doing so??  My R1a  type dna is very German and quite rare in Britain and I do have matches in SW Germany but would love to prove a connection to the Glocks . Family rumour suggests this.   I do NOT match the DNA of the LETT family Project !  so I am intrigued?  I have researched the Glock Naturalisation papers at Kew public records office  etc...   Hoping to hear from you  Best Regards.....
