Hi
All being well I'll be there at Easter.
If anyone gets there before I do, and you get what you want, please let me know - if you remember.
David

Hello David: Thanks for your help.There is a map posted on this string of the plot locations if you need it. Also I understand that there isnt someone at the cemetary at all times to guide you around the place so perhaps some prior arrangements are needed in case you need help.

Regards...Ed

thanks;
i have printed off the map from earlier on this string, and was there a few years ago;
i'm photographing the war graves there, as i have in some 2k other sites, so feel fairly confident;
am just sad that i'm likely to find some/many of thoise you want unmarked (as were my grandparents when i found their resting place near Croydon just a couple of weeks ago);
our share of their legacy was our first tv (back in the 50's) and i am saddened that that was at the cost of a permanent marker for them;
(incidentally they emigrated to Canada in 1913, and then returned to the UK in 1919; am not sure i'll ever know why; 2 others of their brothers went to different parts of Canada and also returned within a handful of years - why???)

Hi, did anyone get to Tunbridge Wells Cemetery?

Just wondering what condition the graves were in and are there many there.

I persuaded my friend to go there, but he (rather grudgingly) said that he would do it when he was in the area - he wouldn't make a special trip over there.  When others  volunteered to go, I didn't push my friend any further, sorry  :-\

hi
got to tunbridge wells cemetery but could not see any of the graves you listed; it's a big cemetery, but it's not difficult to find the right section; tracing the way the graves run is tough; lots of stones, especially in B12, but v few numbered anywhere; if one has a LOT of time one could take each query to the (v helpful) office staff, who would do their best to help; i spent an hour or two wandering, but sadly came up with none; i did find a gilbert grave in C4 (sophia d 1914, and her husband), and can email it (using personal as images are large) if you want; also a site pic of section C9; sorry for otherwise failure; david
