1841/51/61 Censuses Alfred Thrift

Can anyone find info on the family of Alfred Thrift who according to the 1881 census was born in 1826  in Iver.   In 1858 he married Sarah Buckland.

It would be good to find out his parents and where he was living earlier in his life.

There is another Alfred Thrift on the 1881 age 31 born in Iver, who was by then living in Gateshead, Durham.  What was his relationship to the older Alfred - a son?

There were only 2 Alfred Thrifts on the 1851 census, the other one was aged 2!

I would be interested to see the info on the the other Alfred if it is not too much trouble.  Presumably that is the same one I found on the 1881 and Ruth T found on the 1871.  I would like to try and establish a link between the 2.

maybe your other family of john and rebecca are brother and sister in law??? parents of alfred are certailley old enough to be johns parents also?

i have a copy of the 1821 census for iver, it does not give much info but does state that there were seven people living in the household of james thrift, no address given.

there are no thrift's on the 1801 census for iver.
