Hello,
This may be of interest to you, regarding work undertaken by the Wyre Forest Historical Research Group about Kidderminster Workhouse.
Volunteers from the group have been involved with the Living the Poor Life project, in conjunction with the National Archives. As part of this nationwide project, they catalogued, in detail, the correspondence sent to the Poor Law Commission by the Guardians of Kidderminster Workhouse, set up after the Poor Law Amendment Act. These records are now held at the National Archives and went online in August 2010. They are searchable by name, place and keyword and are free to download at
www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/documentsonline.
Regards
David
