Bailey, Sion Mills
« on: Monday 03 January 11 14:30 GMT (UK) »
My gran aunt Catherine Jones married a Charles Carter Bailey who seems to have been from Co. Donegal in Ballingarry Co. Tipperary in 1898.

They had 3 children in the 1911 census, at that time living in Co. Meath, William , Mary and Samuel.

A 1948 obit of her brother suggests that she was living in Sion Mills, Co. tyrone.

Obviously, passed, at this stage, is anyone aware of where she is buried?

She would have been Church of Ireland.

Thanks

Even if she stayed in Sion Mills and died there it's possible she would have been buried in a family plot with her husband so it may be very difficult to find such recent information.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Thanks for the reply.

I know it's a long shot but you never know.

Charles Carter Bailey seems to have been a gardener and may have been working in a large house or estate.
