1861 Census lookup- Allerwash Mill
« on: Thursday 14 April 05 19:52 BST (UK) »
Hi! ;D
I'd be grateful if someone could look up Allerwash Mill, near Hexham on the 1861, please. Looking for my ggg-grandmother Mary WILKINSON, aged about 33years.
On the 1871 there were 3 families living there. Mary gave birth to George WILKINSON in October 1861, my gg-grandfather - as his father is not declared on his birth certificate I'd be very interested to know who Mary was living with/near!!!

Many thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris

Do you have the name of the village or town that Allerwash Mill is in? That would make it easier to search then as the 1861 is not name indexed

Allerwash is near Newbrough I think.  A little south and west.  I don't know if there is a place called Allerwash Mill there or if it is a totally different place
