I'm pleased to see we have managed to link two living relatives which must be great for you both.

Paul has PM'd me his email address and I am sending a copy of the Parish Marriage Record to him.

You just need to answer this thread and then you should be able to contact Paul by PM and exchange email addresses and swop information on your ancestors.

I would love to know more about the Raistrick family. My mom (since deceased) indicated that there was a german connection and would like to know if it is true.
I am sure she would have visited the Raistrick family in 1934.

Please could you give me more info on the Raistricks and the Seniors as I do not know much aqbout them.
If anyone has any info. about the (Marchbank) Hainsworth family I would be glad to receive it.
I can possibly follow up when I am in the UK next month.

Wow this is an interesting thread. I am Dylan Hainsworth the grandson of Jack Hainsworth and great-grandson of Harry Marchbank Hainsworth.

Would love to find out more about the stories you know. I now live in Kent, England. The majority of the family all live in South Africa. Every Hainsworth there now is a descendant of Jack. Jack had 5 sons and 1 daughter so it's a large family.
