Bumphrey family wanted.
« on: Thursday 30 December 10 17:57 GMT (UK) »

Hi,

my name is John Foster (Thornton Heath, England), I am trying to track down the family of Gordon Bumphrey (Moosejaw, Sask)...Gordon would be very old now, so it would be his son/daughter/grandchildren that I seek.

I think we are related, my Grandmother (Sara Elizabeth Foster was related - if not, then very close - to Gordon and his wife...I have letters, photographs from them. I think Gordon may have been in England during WW2.

Thanks in anticipation.

Welcome to Rootschat, Prufrock.

We are not permitted to post or discuss events of living or possibly living persons on Rootschat.

One suggestion I have is for you to search www.canada411.ca for the surname Bumphrey in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and it should return 3 entries with phone numbers and an address in one instance.  These could be possible descendants.

Good luck in your research.

Susan

This may or may not be the family you're seeking.  It's difficult to know without more information.  Mossbank is about 70 km south of Moose Jaw.

This gentleman had a brother, Gord.
