Margaret Brown
« on: Thursday 30 December 10 14:36 GMT (UK) »
Hi
At the moment I am looking into Margaret Browne who after marriage at St James's Parish Bristol and became Hambley in Bristol 1822. She was born in Bristol but no information can be found on parentage as the marriage certificate gives very little information compared with later ones.
She was acused of Larceny at Bristol courts in 1832 and found "Not Guilty".
My question or help is there anyway to source the court records of the trial and can you suggest a direction to go to further my quest on this person. Thanks

Hi,

The date I have for Margaret Browne to John Hambley is 18.11.1821 not 1822.  The only baptisms  for Margaret Brown  (no e on the end) were in 1786 daughter of Agnes or 1799 daughter of Richard and Elizabeth, nothing for Margaret Browne.
