Sorry to hear your not well Irene, :(

I can sympathize with you as I have had back problems for many years and am still recovering from a ruptured disc in my neck (was a few months before I could use my right arm again).

I feel your pain it sometimes feels like it will never go away but it will in time, and now while the cats away the mice can play and I wont have to spend hours on a restore only to find you beat me to it with a beauty and I bin mine again :)

Keep your chin up and hope to see you back soon.

So sorry to hear of your back troubles. Having had a disc removed myself, I have an idea what you are going through, and now you are in recovery, you are doubtless bored out of your brain and are impatient to get up and about.
