Hi Paul,I can hardly believe that after all these years of searching I have at last found my father.albeit too late for a meeting,
I must have been 3 or 4 years old when I last saw him in my grandparents home at Cowdenbeath.I was brought up by my maternal grandparents who adopted me after my birth mother remarried.
I would love to hear from you & your mother.
                   In anticipation,
                                           Rena.

Hi Paul

I have taken off a number of personal details from your second last post. RootsChat's guidelines stress the importance of protecting your privacy and identity online (and that of anybody mentioned who may be living).

RC have a Personal Message service (PMs) which I have linked above. Both you and Rena now have enough posts and this has been activated. PMs are a great (only  ::)) way to exchange very personal info including personal emails.

This is all done to protect you from online abuse etc.

Great that you and Rena have been able to make contact  ;)

Paul, I understand. Sounds like it has been a long road for you all to connect the dots. How exciting it must be now  :)
