Bridget Connelly Mckenzie , Galway to Greenock

My great grandmother bridget connelly came from Ireland to Greenock Scotland  in early 1900s , i believe it to be Galway she may have came from , she had her first child my granda  Hendry out of wedlock round about 1920 so this may be why she came here , she married John Mckenzie from Greenock , she also ran a successful rag an bone buissness from Gibshill in Greenock she lived in 5 Langsbury Street in Greenock , i would love to find out where in Ireland she came from but keep hitting brick walls , she died between 1976 -1979 i think because of family feuds , cant get futher . i am new to this so anyone that can help me would be very much apprieciated . she was born in 1902 , there are several bridget conn*lly from this year in galway but cant find one with father named valentine , becoming real mystery  . yet on her wedding cert in scotland he is listed as valentine an a farmer , her mum's name is mary on her wedding cert .

I suspect that Valentine will be easier to find than Bridget. Searched 1911 census for Valentin* (no surname) in Co. Galway and then sorted by surnames- 13 possiblities but several too young or unmarried.

This family is the only one that has a Bridget (age 10 so slightly older than your estimate)-

Of course it's possible Bridget wasn't at home in 1911 (in another household or already in Scotland).

good possiblity this is couples marriage from census .
there are about 15 bridget conneely,s connolly,s etc etc births for clifden district between
1899-1904 .

if you do decide that you think this couple is bridgets parents ,
when you order marriage cert you can ask roscommon GRO to search for bridgets birth to that couple , they charge 2 euros to search 4 euro for the birth cert . (photocopy of)
