Wangford Baptisms - HURREN

Hi There

I have a Charles HURREN with a christening date of 21 July 1822 at Wangord Cum Henham. His father is listed as David HURREN and mother Ann.
I would love to have more details especially the father's age or date of birth etc and mother's maiden name and church.

I also have a Robert HURREN christened 6 Aug 1815 in Wangord with same parents.

I am not sure what is listed in the Christening book but welcome any information and would like to thank anyone who has the time to look this up for me.

Thank you for looking all that up. I have a feeling that David & Ann Stigal are the parents but need to prove it. I also thought they had been married a long time before Charles was born, it makes David 42 at the time of Charles' birth.

I shall have a look at what you have given me.

Hi Ros,
Do you have Ann Stigal/Hurren in the 1851/1861 Census?
If she is yours she has her POB as Wingfield, Suffolk;

Ann STEGGALL, Christened 27 February 1780, Wingfield, Suffolk
Parents, THOMAS/ELIZABETH


If Ann/David Married 1802 still having Children up til 1822 is nothing unusual.

EDIT in 1851 she is with Son David born c 1806, Higham, Norfolk. In other Census he is born Suffolk.
