Hi Garston girl. :) Yes this is an old post for sure, but I'm still here!  ;)   I'm not personally connected to the Crosby family, but researched them for an old friend of mine who is a granddaughter of Margaret Crosby.  Happy to share what info I have and also to pass on any you wish to share to my friend Sheena.

I don't know whether anyone else has suggested this on previous pages.

But has she tried getting the death certificate,  Or  searching for the place of burial and finding the head stone.      You can get good details from head stones, in my experience.

Hi,
My mum's uncle was the William Brown you are referring to. He married Margaret Crosby. Apparently she died in childbirth with her son Robert Brown around 1926. My mum was Edith Brown, her parents were Robert & Mary Elizabeth (Nee Edwards) Robert was the brother of William. Margaret was the daughter of John & Mary Jane Crosby (Nee Rabbitt) If you can PM me I can give you more information about the families  :)
