I can't find John Crosby on the 1881 for the moment and Mary J is with her parents under her maiden name (although that could be a slip of the tongue)

I wonder if John was working on the night of the census or living somewhere else?

Back to the search.

I've found the Rabbitt family on the 1851,61 and 71 censuses. They certainly lived up to their name LOL

On the 1851 Peter has his brother's and possibly a couple of sisters living with him and also it looks like he was married to someone else before he married Ellen.

On the search to see if I can unravel it all. Well what else can you do in this weather? LOL

I've found the death of Peter' wife Catherine 3rd quarter 1851 in Warrington and his marriage to Ellen Glynn 1st quarter 1852 in Warrington.

Going to look for John Crosby now but he's a bit of a mysetery at the moment.

I've found John on the 1871 and 61 and his parents marriage in 1851. Typically they were Irish so I can't go any further back.

I've found John's birth in the 3rd quarter 1855 Warrington Vol 8c Page 114.

I've found John Crosby living with his parents on the 1881 census. Wonder if they'd had an argument? LOL

This is getting fascinating now.
