Am I having a Senior Moment?
« on: Tuesday 21 December 10 17:27 GMT (UK) »
High Folks, just another senior moment I think

On FreeBMD I can see Thomas Mabbott married Ann Weightman in 1848,
 ‘Newark 15 1111.’
On IGI marriage, Thomas to Ann shows father of Thomas as George Mabbott yet on IGI births it shows Richard as Thomas’s Father.

Am I missing something?

I have sent for certs but don’t expect them anytime soon.

If I'm looking at the right 1851 entry - Thomas was b 1827 Bingham Notts and Ann was b 1824 Bassingham Lincs

His baptism is on the IGI - parents George & Mary

The Lincolnshire marriage indexes http://mi.lincolnshiremarriages.org.uk/  also give his father as George  :)

Yes, I'm behind, was going to post this stuff.

Anyway, if you just put in the batch number and the names of the parents - other children

Sarah Ann 1824
Isaac 1832

In case you didn't have them

I think you are all right, I was looking at the wrong Thomas Mabbott, the one born in Sleaford 1822.
Would you believe two Thomas Mabbotts born about the same time and not too far from each other.
Thank You
