Norrie,
Thank you so much.
This family has been a real roadblock.

I have a death record from 1860 April 23 rd
High Street, Dysart for
Robert AINSLIE, Ironmonger (Journeyman), (Single) Age 17
Fasther Robert AINSLIE Carpenter, (Deceased)
Mother Helen AINSLIE, M.S. STOCKS or STACKS (writing)
Cause of death Phthisis.

This seems to fit.

Jane AINSLIE YOUNG age 35 reports in the 1881 Census
at 8 Coles Terrace, Fordell, her birth place as Dysart

Norrie, the headstone looks like it is in a distressed condition
can you comment.

Yours Aye,

Hi Angus  Remember Barony Dysart  is an Old Cemetery
not been in use since early 1900s unless you had lairs their
for family use.

We did suffer a lot of problems with vandals in the 90s they thought
it was fun to topple headstones, and in the early 2003 the council
toppled stones which whey thought were unsafe, ( Health & Safety)
mostly they left them face down lying on their own grave, not being able
to read the inscription
the council who upkeep the cemetery ( cut the grass ) is not responsible
to reposition headstones
I include a general photo of the Graveyard you can see the number
of  stones on the ground

Been given info on Janet Thomson nee Pringle grave (September 1, 1887) but cannot find location in Dysart.  (32i south)

Trying to find out information about her husband James Thomson. I have a marriage February 19, 1832 in Edinburgh but cannot find location of his birth or death (think before 1841 as found Janet Thomson on 1841 census) I was hoping the grave may be able to give me some extra info....

any help greatly appreciated.

Craig
