I'm sorry, here is the information

Jessie McKenzie died 1977 in Kirkcaldy but her name could be spelled Jessie MacKenzie.  Her full given name at birth was Jessie Burns McKenzie. She was never married.

Christina McKenzie died in 1960 in Kirkcaldy but again the name could be MacKenzie
Christina's maiden name was Alexander

Throughout my family research, McKenzie has been spelled both ways, even by the same family members so it's hard to know which was used on a gravestone.
Christina's husband, John McKenzie, died in Glasgow in 1924 so I'm quite sure he won't have a gravestone in Kirkcaldy.

Thank you very much
Janet

I would love a photo if possible as I am sure yours are a lot better than the ones I took.

Hi Diana  PM your Email and I will send direct

I was also wondering if you had any of a David Thomson and Ann Steele in Pathead or Dysart Cemetery?
nothing in index for David & Ann Steele
I see the photos are of their children

David and Bessie must be in Hayfield Cemetery. Do you think the Kirkcaldy Crem would be able to tell me?

Email tell them the dates of deaths, names and you think
they are in Hayfield or may have been cremated, and hope you may get an answer.

Hi Janet  sorry nothing in my index for any of the above, Have you considered
that Christina may have been buried in her husbands grave in Glasgow.
that would have cost less.

Thanks for having a look Norrie. I'll see what's available online for Glasgow.
I've received the death notice that was in the newspaper for my great Aunt Christina MacKenzie. I copied it below.

MACKENZIE – At 218 Rosslyn Street, Kirkcaldy on the 4th August 1960, in her 96th year Christina Alexander, beloved wife of the late John MacKenzie late of Watergate, Cleish.

Can you tell me where is Watergate, Cleish? I know my gr uncle John died in Glasgow after being hit by a train. I have his death certificate.

Thanks
Janet

Hi Norrie in reply to my question re Peter Mclaren- family plot headstone do you have any information rearding Cairns family plot? Peter's in-laws were Christopher and Jamima Cairns (Maria st kdy). Just a thought as Peters parents both died in Couper Angus. Thanks for any help Gill. ???

Hi, Peters parents were Peter and Christina Mclaren however they both died in Forfar and i would assume burried there or perhaps |Logierait ( where they came from). Isabella parents were Christopher Cairns and jemina ( cant recall her surname, would have to look it up). I though Peter had bought the plot and he, his wife and im told grandson were burried there. Hope that makes a difference as I have looked and unfortunately found nothing- relatives not much help! Thanks again. Gillian.

Hi Gillian    sorry I can find nothing for Christopher Cairns on index
yes he may have bought a plot but did they have a headstone
