anything on David Shiels (Shields) - he was a Pastor and Market gardener in Kirkcaldy (lived August 1771 to 1/11/1861 died in Kirkcaldy) and his wife Fanny (Hannah or Fotheringham) Mitchel/Mitchell (lived 1786 to Dec 1845 died in Kirkcaldy

I don't have a photo of the headstone, but Mitchel gives this as the inscription

David SHEILDS  born Aug 1771 died Nov. 1861
Wife Fanny MITCHELL born Nov. 1786 died Dec. 1845
Agnes SHEILD or Ross died 9.10.1908

The IGI gives 3 children but nothing on them
i have other Shields & Mitchells but need 2 names to search

I am looking for information on the death of Robert BEVERIDGE
Birth: 10 JUL 1868 in Kilconquhar, Fife, Scotland
Death: 1916 in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland
Burial: Bennochy Cemetery, 1916

In 1911 he and his wife Mathilde, both age 42, lived at 18 Balfour St, Kirkcaldy. He was a baker at 311 High Street, Elder's Brae, and had taken over the business after his father David Beveridge retired.

Note that Robert died 1933 not 1916 age 64 this gives a birth date 1868
But the IGI gives a birth in Kirkcaldy of a Robert Beveridge 10.7.1868
And parents David Beveridge  & Harriet Methven

Thanks so much!! That is interesting that Robert died in 1933 when I have two other pieces of information that state he died in 1916; however, I haven't found him on scotlandspeople in 1916 so now I need to check 1933!!  I know for sure that it's the correct Robert Beveridge because an aunt told me that he was married to Mathilde Aeschlimann, who was supposedly a governess for the Duchess of Fife.
  Will  you please send me the photo of #712- David Beveridge family?  I hadn't found the name of one of the infants that died at a young age. 
  What other cemeteries in Kirkcaldy do you have records and/or photos?

Just realized that the two stories about David Beveridge stated that Robert died in 1916 when it was actually David who died in 1916.  The information was apparently copied to another story without checking the accuracy of the information.
