I was wondering if you have a photo of the following headstones
Annie Duncan died 1992 and her husband Thomas Hislop died 1975
Andrew Duncan died 1990 and his wife Christina Nicholson died 1995

Hi The chief  sorry nothing in index for the above,
let me know who their parents were, and will check
to see if they had been attached to them

I have a question also about one of the drylie families you gave me. george drylie and margret beall drylie  i have son Johns birth as 1916 and your inscription says he died apr 22 1922 and was 39 years old?
Hi Beans  yes your right George died 1953 not 1922 sorry

Also John Hynd and Helen Drylie is there anyway to verify that he was 10 years older than her  i have both of their births in 1869 but according to the inscriptions and subtracting his age he was born in 1879
I work from photographs and sometimes the dates are not all that clear,
have attached the photo, it could be 1946 not 1936

Thank you for looking NorrieG.

Alexander Oswald and his wife had a daughter, VERE born 1825 Lochgelly, do not no if they had anymore children as i have been unable to find a birth cert for Vere, although her OPR marriage record say's" Vere Oswald, daughter of the late Alexander Oswald" and her Death cert also states she was the daughter of Alexander Oswald.

Andrew Turnbull c1791 had a son  Andrew Turnbull 1813, This is a copy of the OPR for the marriage between Andrew and Vere

The OPR: 547 Turnbull/Oswald: Upon the 12th Jan 1851 were (? cannot read) Andrew Turnbull Joiner son of the late Andw Turnbull Engineer and Vere Oswald daughter of Alexr Oswald, Farmservant and both of this Parish Married 13th by Revd John Blackie now of Abbotshall.

Andrew and Vere both died at Gordon Street, South Leith, Edinburgh, this is what is written for their death certs:
Andrew Turnbull, Joiner(Journeyman) married to Vere Oswald, died Sept 16th 9.50pm 1873, 3 Gordon Street, Male 61 Parents Andrew Turnbull, Ag Lab (dec) and Mary Turnbull, formerley Paterson (dec)

Vere Turnbull, widow of Andrew Turnbull, Joiner, died 1890 June 23rd 10am, Gordon Street, Leith. Aged 65, Parents Alexander Oswald(dec) and Mary Oswald (dec) formerley Black.

I also have this: Fife Death Index, pre 1855,
An unnamed Turnbull child, died aged 16 months, at Abbotshall, Fife buried 2 Sep 1852, child of Andrew Turnbull, buried in the grave of James Oswald (OPR 399-8).

Many Thanks
