There is a New York Passenger List 16 July 1890 going Liverpool to New York on SS Teutonic.

George Foster aged 38 years. Mrs Foster aged 40 years. Herbert Foster aged 10 years and Mabel Foster Aged 4 years which could well be your family. If so it a possibility that Ada could have died.
