Hi

Wondering if anyone can help me i do not live in the uk therefore cannot access the libraries regarding lancashire newspapers.

I am looking for a newspaper article on Elizabeth Webster who had twins in the july of 1911 her picture holding the twins was printed in the paper however the family has lost it and i would love to be able to see it as there is no other photo of her, the twins both died within their first year, she was married  about 1897 to george phillips although we have not been able to locate the marriage cert sadly she died in 1920 would love to look these up in the newspapers. Any help much appreciated.

Jo :)

The online access to newspapers sadly finishes at 1900 so your only means of finding this photograph is probably to narrow down which newspaper, probably by location, and then see if anybody can look it up for you at the local Record Office.

Try emailing the local main library in the area with the details, most libraries are happy to help and if they find the info will charge for a photocopy plus postage.
